Former Health Secretary Matt Hancock is currently one of the celebrities braving the jungle I’m a celebritybut could the politician find himself on a different reality show?

Matt has reportedly signed on to participate Celebrity SAS: Who dares wins, and given what the celebs go through on that show, it makes any Bushtucker trial look like a piece of cake! The show, which aired in 2015, is notoriously difficult to test those who compete with a grueling selection process similar to what those applying to join the SAS face.

Several celebrities who have taken part in the show have had to medically retire, including The only way is essex protagonist Pete Wicks who knocked himself out during a task that saw him jump from a helicopter into the sea.

The politician has reportedly signed on for a yet-to-be-broadcast series, a Channel 4 spokesperson said Metro earlier this month: “In the best tradition of the SAS, this mission is confidential. However, full details will be released when the series airs next year.”

Matt wouldn’t be the first politician to take on the show, as his former colleague Louise Mensch appeared in the first series and withdrew voluntarily.

Bushtucker rehearsals will have prepared Matt for the show

Matt has already caused some drama by his decision to take part I’m a celebritywith the politician losing the Conservative Party whip over his looks.

He was also confronted by other cast mates during his time in the jungle, including Loose women protagonist Charlene White, A Place in the Sun presenter Scarlette Douglas and Culture Club singer Boy George, who has he didn’t mince his words when talking to the politician.

After camp leader Matt asked him to wash some potatoes, Boy George said in a Bush Telegraph segment, “Matt was seen getting a little exuberant earlier when we were about to cook the meal.

“The bag came down and there were some potatoes and Matt started telling everyone he wanted them to wash them. I was like, ‘oh, love this little power.'”
