Clementine returns to The Walking Dead for book 2 of the graphic novel trilogy

The walking dead franchise continues to grow with a first look at Clementines: second book. The Skybound Comet imprint recently released some preview images of the upcoming young adult graphic novel release.

Clementines: second book is the next chapter in a trilogy of graphic novels published by Skybound Comet. The following pages mention a major spoiler from the first book in the series. Reader discretion is advised.

CLEMENTINES: SECOND BOOK: FIRST LOOK EXTENDED TO THE NEW TWD extension COMIC

The first look extended to Clementine second book features Clementine and her new friends on the run in a desolate world. They hunt rabbits, discuss the ones they’ve lost and, of course, encounter deadly walkers. The shifting dimensions of this trio, romantic, platonic or otherwise, are teased. More importantly, the first look ends with Clementine asking “Who said we were kids?”

Clementine may be young, but she’s not a child. She had to grow up before she even had the chance for a normal childhood. Since then she has had to be more of an adult every day, and in the second book she stopped being treated like a child.

The official synopsis of Clementine second book teases a new location, a new figurehead, and a community of secrets waiting to be revealed.

CLEMENTINE: BOOK SECOND OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

“In Clementine Book Two, Clementine and her new friends are rescued by an island community led by an enigmatic doctor, Miss Morro, but just as Clementine’s scars are finally starting to heal, she discovers dark secrets that threaten to tear her apart. his new life. Miss Morro could be a benevolent healer, leading an island community in an effort to survive a zombie apocalypse. Or she could be a manipulative tyrant with a god complex, or somewhere in between. We don’t know enough about Miss Morro to judge whether they are still friends or enemies of Clementine. But enigmatic leaders in The walking dead franchise often has a tendency towards sociopathy.

Skybound is a cross-platform entertainment venture from Robert Kirkman, creator of The walking dead, Invincible, and more. Image Comics is one of the most successful and creative comic companies working today and Kirkman has a long history with the company.

CLEMENTINE: BOOK TWO IS FROM WRITER/ARTIST TILLIE WALDEN

Award-winning writer and artist Tillie Walden is the creative mind behind it Clementines: second book. Walden continues the story of Clementine, a character introduced for the first time The walking dead video game series by Telltale Games. In those games, you play the character of Lee Everett, a tough but caring man who takes care of Clementine in the absence of her parents.

Clementine has spent most of her life in the world of The walking dead. He knows it’s better than trusting anyone, walker or human. Everyone wants to hurt you and getting attached to people will only end up in more pain and suffering. Heartache is Clementine’s life, and that tragedy was excellently portrayed Clementine first book.

Tillie Walden expanded the universe created by Robert Kirkman by taking The walking dead telling a personal, profound story, with painful stakes. The story follows Clementine as a young wanderer, stripped of her childhood, her family and friends, and even her lower leg. During her uneventful journey into isolation, she met an Amish community, who offered their help and assistance.

She was reluctant to trust them, of course, and hurriedly left after being helped with supplies and a new prosthetic. Before long, Clementine met a naive and hopeful boy named Amos. He was from the city she had just left, and he was too oblivious to the harsh realities of the world outside her quaint parish. But he was good with a hatchet and, more importantly, he was nice to Clementine.

CLEMENTINE: THE SECOND BOOK CONTINUES A SAGA TO REACH THE BONES

He feared that his journey to a promised land in the mountains, free of pedestrians and complete with a working airplane, was a lunatic’s errand. But no matter how hardened he was at the loss of her, Clementine’s heart got the better of her, and so she followed. The quest for Amos and Clementine is harrowing, inspiring, and chilling.

The bitter cold of the winter they struggle in comes to life through Walden’s incredible illustrations and Cliff Rathburn’s passionate gray tones. The least spoiled about the harrowing events of Clementine Book One, the better. Suffice to say, this is a wonderful entry point The walking dead franchise for readers of all ages. Clementine’s story is dark and full of tension, but it is not without its moments of brevity and hope.

Clementine Second book is part of a promising 2023 slate for Skybound Comet. February will see the release of dark, a graphic novel by Mac Smith. In April, beware Outpost Zero: The Complete Collection, by Sean Kelley McKeever and Alexandre Tefenkgi.

CLEMENTINE IS PART OF AN EXCITING COMET SKYBOUND SLATE

In May 2023, young adult graphic novel by Michelle Fus, Ava’s Demon Book One: Reborn comes from Skybound Comet. In September, Sea The serpent’s heir: second book comes as the next chapter in Mairghread Scott and Pablo Tunica’s fantasy trilogy.

Available everywhere books are sold in October 2023, the upcoming original graphic novel is a tentpole release for Skybound Comet, a new brand of original graphic novels aimed at young adult (12 and up) and mid-level audiences (ages 8 to 12), but it certainly captivates readers of all ages. Skybound Comet officially launched in 2022 with the release of the critically acclaimed Clementine first book.

Clementine Book Two will be available in comic bookstores on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 and wherever books are sold, along with digital platforms including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
