Everything you need to know about “Sports Talk,” Amazon’s new sports programming series

Prime Video recently unveiled “Sports Talk,” a new block of original sports talk programming, airing Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm EST. Prime Video customers in the US can access “Sports Talk” anywhere Prime Video is available to stream without needing a Prime membership.

“Sports Talk” complements the thousands of live sporting events Prime members can already watch every year on Prime Video, including Thursday night football and premium sports channels Prime members can purchase, such as NBA League Pass, MLB.TV, and NBA TV. “Sports Talk” is also available as a FAST channel on the Amazon Freevee and via Amazon’s new live radio app, Amp, where fans can listen to audio from shows in real time.

The “Sports Talk” list features seven new daily shows: Good morning! Sports talka panel show with Madelyn Burke, Ben Lyons, and a rotating weekly guest host; The show of champions Dearwith guest Cari Champion; Game switcheswith hosts Eitan Levine and Drexton Clemons; From the desk of Maestro Twith host Master Tesfatsion; The hour of powerwith host Rennae Stubbs; The finest hour of all time, a replica of the best hour of the day’s programming; And The backup plan, with hosts Hana Ostapchuk and Jason Spells. The entire 12-hour programming block will air daily from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am EST, with episodes from the previous week also airing on weekends.

‘Good morning! talk about sports’

The Good morning! Sports talk the panel will deliver positive, passionate, and agenda-setting storytelling each morning, supported by a news desk providing up-to-date stories from around the world. The show aims to broaden the net for compelling conversation, access, and analysis.

Hours: 8-10am EST (airs 10am-noon EST)

“The Show of the Dear Champions”

The show of champions Dear is a crossover show for all fans of sports and culture. Cari Champion offers fans a first-hand, unfiltered look at sports and the role they play in our daily lives. It allows viewers to feel like they’re participating in friends’ conversations about the latest news, while still encouraging them to learn more about topics from a hands-on, connected perspective.

Hours: Noon-2pm EST

“Game Breakers”

Eitan Levine and Drexton Clemons are a comedy duo whose jokes and insights never fail to take their audience on a refreshingly unpredictable and informative journey. As New York writers and comedians, the two friends will offer fans a unique perspective on the world of sports and their natural intersection with New York music, culture and life.

“From Master T’s Desk”

From the desk of Maestro T will present Master Tesfatsion’s young and fresh vision on sport and culture and his ability to connect with the stories of the athletes. Tesfatsion empowers athletes to express themselves by bringing a level of comfort that pushes media-trained athletes beyond their textbook responses.

“Hour of Power”

The hour of power, with host Rennae Stubbs, will showcase her enthusiasm and expertise and highlight her love of the cultural aspects of professional sport. Stubbs’ extensive experience as an athlete and commentator gives her the ability to connect with athletes and her audience. She asks the tough questions, but she remains intuitive and charismatic.

“The Finest Hour of All Time”

Are you stuck in the office? Busy running errands and missed your favorite “Sports Talk” show? The finest hour of all time offers the best scheduling hour of the day so you don’t miss a thing.

Hours: 6-7pm EST

‘Backup Plan’

The backup plan will play the best moments of the complete list of daily programs of “Sports Talk”. With a casual setting for the late show, it’s just two colleagues making sure you’re covered in the must-know headlines and sports stories that criss-cross in pop culture. As the only evening show on the schedule, these presenters keep it light and comedic while highlighting moments of the day.
