Former Biden Business Partner Hunter Hopes GOP Probe Proves Joe Biden Lied and Is ‘The Big Guy’

Tony Bobulinski, the former business partner of President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden, said he welcomes the recently announced GOP investigation into the First Family’s business efforts, hoping it will confirm his long-standing claim that the president lied when he claimed he had no role in his son’s foreign affairs.

Bobulinski, a Navy veteran and former CEO of SinoHawk holdings, a firm in which Hunter Biden was involved, said in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity that the investigation is “good news” because it lends credence to his previous allegations that, when the president denied involvement in his son’s business operations, it was a “blatant lie.”

Just before the 2020 presidential election, Bobulinski came forward with a series of explosive revelations prompted by messages discovered on Hunter Biden’s laptop.

Among them was correspondence involving Hunter Biden in which a 10 percent cut from a Chinese deal would be “withheld by H for the Big Guy.”

“The Big Boy”

In a statement to the media in October 2020, Bobulinski said “Big Guy” was a reference to then-presidential candidate Joe Biden.

“Hunter Biden called his father ‘the big shot’ or ‘my president’ and often referred to him asking for his approval or advice on various potential deals we were discussing,” Bobulinski wrote at the time.

“The Biden family aggressively leveraged the Biden family name to make millions of dollars from foreign entities, even though some were from communist-controlled China,” Bobulinski said.

Hannity asked Bobulinski during the interview if he knows “for sure” that the reference to “Big Guy” in messages found on Hunter Biden’s laptop was a reference to the president of the United States.

“It’s crazy that we’re actually still talking about it two years after I went public: A 1,000% Joe Biden is the ‘Big Guy,’” Bobulinski replied.

“The good news is the congressman [James] Comer and deputy [Jim] Jordan has a number of documents that will confirm all of this,” Bobulinski added.

Both the president and his son denied any wrongdoing, and the elder Biden said during his final debate against then-President Donald Trump that “I’ve never taken a dime from any foreign source in my life.”

Bobulinski insists this is false.

“I think the American people will see these facts. I think they will be shocked by these facts. And hopefully justice is served,” he told Hannity.

The Republicans launch the probe

Reps. James Comer (R-Ky.) and Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) announced Nov. 17 that the House Oversight Committee will investigate whether the president was involved in his son’s business, claims the elder Biden has denied. .

Comer, who is the incoming chairman of the oversight committee, said in a press conference that, contrary to the president’s claims, whistleblower evidence shows the elder Biden was involved in his son Hunter’s international affairs.

“This is an investigation into Joe Biden, the president of the United States, and why he has lied to the American people about his knowledge of and participation in his family’s international business schemes,” Comer said.

The White House dismissed the newly launched investigation, calling it a politically motivated blockbuster.

Ian Sams, a spokesman for the White House Council’s office, issued a critical statement as well announced it he allegedly started sharing “the facts” about his official work account on Twitter.

“Instead of working with President Biden to address issues important to the American people, such as cutting costs, the top priority of Republicans in Congress is to go after President Biden with politically motivated attacks chock full of conspiracy theories on long debunked,” Sams said in a statement accusing Republicans of “wasting time and resources on political revenge.”

In addition to denying involvement in his son’s business, Biden last week dismissed the prospect of a GOP investigation into his family, saying, “Lots of luck your senior year, like my coach used to say.”

Republicans have long accused some media outlets of suppressing the story of Hunter Biden’s laptop and downplaying allegations that the president lied when he said he wasn’t involved in his son’s foreign affairs.

“For years the media has covered the Biden family. It ends soon. The real accountability is finally coming,” said Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.), who is on his way to becoming House Majority Leader, in a post on Twitter.

In addition to announcing the investigation, Republicans released a report (pdf) on Nov. 17 outlining allegations of federal crimes committed by or on behalf of the Biden family.

Comer said the alleged crimes include conspiracy to defraud the United States, wire fraud, Foreign Agents Registration Act violations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Action violations, tax evasion, money laundering and Trafficking Victims Protection Act violations.

The opening of the investigation comes as Republicans prepare to take control of the House on Jan. 3, 2023.
