Jack Vidgen reveals he doesn’t have many friends in the entertainment industry and is ‘pretty lonely’
As a popular reality star, she has a life that many will envy.
But Jack Vidgen admitted that despite all the red carpets and swanky nights out, he really doesn’t have many friends in the entertainment industry and can be “pretty lonely.”
The former winner of Australia’s Got Talent, 25, who is the latest celebrity to be kicked off The Challenge, said he was happy to meet more people in a ‘similar industry’ while taking part in the Channel 10 reality show.

“Looking back, I’ve realized now that I don’t actually have a lot of friends in the industry, it’s pretty lonely, so it’s been really nice to meet people in the industry and my age as well,” she told Who. com.au.
Jack said he felt ‘so lucky’ to be on the show for even ‘two episodes’
“It’s so fun to watch it back because the emotions are so high, there’s so much tension because we’re all competing against each other,” said Jack.
“But outside the home we all get along very well [the house] it was just a very tense environment.’
Jack added that the cast “have a group chat” and are “very happy” to walk out with a squeaky-clean reputation.

It comes after Jack admits he “would be living on the streets” if it weren’t for the reality show.

He told The Daily Telegraph that his return to television has helped him financially because releasing music as an independent artist costs “a lot of money”.

Jack said life as a musician has been “very difficult” during the Covid pandemic, which has seen venues shut down across the country.
“It’s more of a passion project, just to keep singing because as a musician it’s been very difficult with Covid,” she said.
“I’m very grateful to have one foot in the door on reality TV, otherwise I’d probably be on my way.”

After winning Australia’s Got Talent at the age of 14, Jack returned to the spotlight three years ago when he auditioned for The Voice Australia.
His comeback came after his career stalled following a stint in Los Angeles at age 16.
