“Jennie-O and I had a great time honoring the school cafeteria staff Knoxville and can’t wait to visit Panorama High School Los Angeles — part of the second largest school district in the nation — to show their staff how much they are loved and appreciated,” said Hall. “We all know how incredibly important it is for our children to have the right nutrition to help sustain them through the day, And Jennie-O® turkey products provide the kind of quality protein and nutrition our kids need to be successful.”

Hall and the Jennie-O® the brand team worked together to develop a delicious menu with Jennie-O® turkey for school cafeteria staff to enjoy today. During the event, Hall will lead a tutorial on baking his famous cookies with school cafeteria staff and cooking students. In addition, the brand will involve local businesses to offer refreshments and relaxing services to school cafeteria heroes. And finally, the staff will receive heartfelt notes of gratitude from the student body.

In conjunction with the school cafeteria acquisition, LAUSD will announce it is the first district to serve No Antibiotics Ever turkey since Jennie-O® brand as part of their school nutrition program.

As part of the School Cafeteria Takeovers program with Hall, the creators of Jennie-O® the brand will provide $25,000 to four additional schools throughout the year to help meet wish lists for cafeterias in need of new equipment and supplies.
