Lorraine Kelly left a number of famous faces speechless in a skit for BBC Children In Need.

The comedy clip – which was shown on the presenter’s ITV daytime show – also featured Peter Andre, Deborah Meaden, Natalie Cassidy and Pudsey Bear.

During the skit, set in a Children In Need office, actor Lenny Rush speaks to the camera and expresses his delight at what a wonderful employee Kelly, 62, is.

Rush, who appears to be the bureau chief, says, “One person who’s been giving me no trouble this year is Lorraine Kelly.

“She’s one of the loveliest people on TV.”

The clip then cuts to show Kelly talking kindly to someone on the phone, before she asks them to “wait a minute”.

To the surprise of her colleagues in the office, Kelly launches into an expletive-laden rant across the room, during which a beep sounds and Kelly’s mouth is covered in a cartoonish Pudsey logo.

“How many times have I told you to shut up, honest with God,” he shouts.

“Shut up. I can’t concentrate on what I’m doing here.”

During Kelly’s comical rant, various celebrities who are also taking calls to the office react, with singer Andre, 49, the first to answer as he spits out his glass of water in shock.

Dragons’ stars Den Meaden, 63, and Peter Jones both watch Kelly in disbelief, with Meaden looking indignant as Jones, 56, cowers behind a screen that divides his desk in fear.

Comedian Darren Harriott looks genuinely taken aback, while presenter and Love Island voice Iain Stirling holds his laughter in the corner.

Soap opera star Natalie Cassidy is quick to tell her caller she’ll call them back so they don’t hear about the ordeal.

As a life-sized Pudsey Bear appears from around the corner, Kelly redirects her anger at the BBC’s Children In Need mascot, before returning to her caller in her usual kind and gracious manner.

After the clip aired on Lorraine, Kelly was seen laughing out loud as she spoke to Children In Need host Chris Ramsay, telling the comedian, “That was just such a laugh to have. Poor Pudsey Bear. Shocked.

Ramsay – who will host the fundraising show live on Friday night alongside Ade Adepitan, Mel Giedroyc, Alex Scott and Jason Manford – jokingly replied: “Honestly, you should be ashamed of yourself.

“I knew the beautiful facade fell off, I knew it from time to time. But I thought maybe you went home and swore on a pillow for 40 minutes.

“I didn’t think you cursed Pudsey, I can’t believe it.”

Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV1.
