Here’s what we know.

What happened on Wednesday I’m a celebrity… get me out of here!

Hosts Ant and Dec revealed early in the show that three celebrity contestants would be temporarily leaving the field.

Ant opened the show by saying, “Hello, good evening, good morning and welcome to Australia and a show that absolutely features a lot of balls.”

To which Dec said, “Yeah, but don’t worry, there isn’t a kangaroo testicle in sight because tonight those balls are part of a brand new challenge with an amazing prize.”

Ant went on to explain the challenge, saying: “Three lucky celebrities will be whisked off the course to enjoy a luxurious barbecue on Australia’s beautiful Gold Coast.

“Trust me folks, this is truly the trip of a lifetime.”

During the show, DJ Chris Moyles was faced with his fear of confined spaces as he had to crawl through a series of pipes.

He only managed one star in his second bushtucker trial, dubbed Boiling Point.

Meanwhile, Boy George was unimpressed when presenter Scarlette Douglas questioned him about his criminal conviction and time spent in prison.

In 2008, Boy George was convicted of assault and false imprisonment. The singer later complained that her questioning was “inappropriate”.

Tensions were also evident between the pair with the pop star who told the Bush Telegraph that Scarlette seems to “shut him down” whenever she tries to start a debate with former health secretary, Matt Hancock, as if to “protect” the congressman .

What was Ant and Dec’s other big announcement?

In a twist, the contestants will decide among themselves which celebrities will take on the next Bushtucker trial.

Ant and Dec broke the news to the contestants during a visit to the field at the end of Wednesday night’s episode of the show.

Dec said: “We bring you news. The next trial is called Scare-ground, but the public didn’t vote for it.

“That’s because you’ll choose which three celebrities will do it.”

He added: “We will let you make your own decision, so you have to pick three people. Then we’ll see all 11 of us at the trial a little later”

After Ant and Dec left the field, the celebs started making their own decisions, with discussions resulting in Mike Tindall, Matt Hancock, and Owen Warner looking like likely choices.
